G-Lab Skin Institute Terms of Use

Effective Date: September 10, 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and participation in educational programs, courses, resources, and materials provided by 1001043329 Ontario Inc., carrying on business as G-Lab Skin Institute (“G-Lab Skin Institute,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By purchasing a program, creating an account, or accessing G-Lab Skin Institute course materials, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use.

1. Educational Purpose

G-Lab Skin Institute programs are provided for educational and informational purposes. They are designed to support knowledge development, critical thinking, skin assessment, ingredient and formulation literacy, and evidence-informed decision-making.

Participation in or completion of a G-Lab Skin Institute program does not grant, expand, replace, or modify a learner’s professional licence, registration, regulated scope of practice, or legal authority to perform any treatment, service, procedure, assessment, diagnosis, or intervention.

Learners are responsible for understanding and complying with the legislation, regulations, professional standards, employer requirements, and scope-of-practice requirements applicable to their profession and jurisdiction.

Course content does not constitute individualized medical, legal, regulatory, or professional advice.

2. Certificate of Completion

Learners who successfully satisfy the stated program requirements may receive a Certificate of Completion from G-Lab Skin Institute.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, a certificate issued by G-Lab Skin Institute does not constitute professional licensure, registration, authorization to practise, or accreditation or endorsement by a regulatory, governmental, or professional authority.

3. Course Access

Course enrollment and access are provided solely to the individual learner registered for the program.

Login credentials and course access may not be shared, transferred, sold, or provided to another person.

Any applicable duration of course access will be identified on the relevant enrollment or sales page.

4. Intellectual Property

All original course materials, including but not limited to videos, presentations, written content, graphics, diagrams, educational frameworks, case studies, assessments, worksheets, workbooks, downloadable materials, and other resources, are owned by or licensed to G-Lab Skin Institute and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Enrollment provides the registered learner with a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use designated course materials for their own educational and professional reference.

Course materials may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, distributed, shared, sold, sublicensed, modified for redistribution, incorporated into another educational program, or used to create or deliver commercial educational content without prior written permission from G-Lab Skin Institute.

5. Course Content and Updates

G-Lab Skin Institute strives to provide accurate, current, evidence-informed educational content. However, scientific evidence, product formulations, professional standards, industry practices, and regulatory requirements may change over time.

G-Lab Skin Institute may update, revise, replace, or remove course materials where reasonably necessary to maintain the accuracy, relevance, and quality of its programs.

6. Professional Responsibility

Learners are responsible for determining whether information discussed within a program is appropriate and permitted within their individual professional scope, competence, workplace, and jurisdiction.

Where a client’s needs or presentation fall outside a learner’s professional scope or competence, the learner remains responsible for seeking appropriate guidance or referral.

7. No Guarantee of Results

G-Lab Skin Institute does not guarantee any particular employment, income, business, professional, client, clinical, treatment, or other outcome resulting from participation in a program.

8. Pricing and Payment

Program prices are displayed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.

Purchasers are responsible for reviewing the total purchase price and applicable payment terms before completing enrollment.

Where a payment plan is offered, the purchaser remains responsible for payments in accordance with the terms presented at checkout, subject to applicable law.

9. Refunds, Cancellations and Statutory Rights

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, purchasers may request a refund within 7 calendar days of purchase, provided the learner has not completed a substantial portion of the program or downloaded a substantial portion of the downloadable course materials.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS]. If a refund is approved, access to the course and associated materials will be terminated.

After the 7-day refund period, purchases are non-refundable except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Canadian Customers: Canadian purchasers retain any cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights available under applicable federal and provincial consumer-protection legislation. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or waived.

United Kingdom Customers: Consumers located in the United Kingdom may have statutory cancellation rights in relation to online purchases. Where immediate access to digital course content is requested or provided during an applicable cancellation period, purchasers may be asked to expressly consent to immediate supply and acknowledge the effect that beginning access to digital content may have on their statutory right to cancel, in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

Where statutory cancellation or refund rights apply, those rights take precedence over any inconsistent provision of these Terms.

10. Technology and Third-Party Platforms

Learners are responsible for having suitable internet access, hardware, software, and other technology necessary to access an online program.

Course delivery may rely on third-party platforms and service providers. Temporary interruptions caused by maintenance, service providers, or circumstances outside G-Lab Skin Institute’s reasonable control may occur.

11. Suspension or Termination of Access

G-Lab Skin Institute may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations of these Terms, including unauthorized sharing, copying, redistribution, resale, or other misuse of course materials.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, G-Lab Skin Institute is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from a learner’s use or application of educational information provided through its programs.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without limiting any mandatory consumer-protection rights or other statutory rights that may apply to a purchaser based on their place of residence.

14. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. The Terms applicable to a purchase will be those presented in connection with that transaction, subject to applicable law.
